Kevin E. Farmer died November 21, 2019 after a courageous two year battle with cancer.

He was born November 27, 1953 in Metropolis, Illinois, the son of Dan and Irma Imogene Farmer.  Kevin graduated high school from Lockport High School in 1971.  Following high school he attended Moody Bible Institute pursuing a degree in Communications for Radio Broadcasting.

Almost thirty years of his career was spent working as an Inside Sales Rep for Hines Lumber.  Aside from work and spending time with friends and family Kevin enjoyed volunteering for  variety of programs including Awanas Club for children, “Step It Up” shoes for kids and Habitat for Humanity.  Kevin was a registered organ donor and due to his generosity two people will now have the gift of site.

Kevin was a devoted husband to his wife Elizabeth and proud father of his two boys Jared and Charles.  He also leaves behind his brother Danny Farmer and sister Cheryl Novitske.

Memorial visitation will be held Saturday from 11:00 A.M.. to 1:00 P.M. at Yurs Funeral Home St. Charles. Funeral Services will follow at 1:00 P.M.

In lieu of flowers donations may be given to the Leukemia & Lymphoama Society in memory of Kevin Farmer.   Website  http://www.LLS.org
