"With my deepest heart felt condolences on your loss of Kevin. My heart breaks for y’all. Time will seem to stop and creep along ever so slowly giving you hours of time to reflect on every little thing he did. Every time you cried after an accomplishment that made you so proud to be part of his life. Every little goofy thing he did that made you laugh so hard you could hardly breathe. Your proudest moments will become your fondest cherished moments the rest of your life. Always talk about him to him, to help the void you now have in your heart, cling to loved ones to help you thru. We are here for you. Cling to Bud help each other thru the dark days ahead. Cry when you miss him. Help Ralph thru this time too. Most of all never let anyone tell you that you should be over the loss of your child. Everyone greaves differently. He is not gone, he is just away… carry him your heart. Smile when you see a cardinal or a feather for he is watching over you. With all my love and understanding, Pat"

"I’m so sorry for your loss. I met Kevin when he came with my nephew to spend the week with my family on Geneva Lake over the 4th of 2021. He was a joy to be around. He was fun, respectful and always was smiling. I recall when he left saying, “that kid can stay at my place anytime!” Prayers for his family and all his buddies that love him so much."

Pamela Paryse from Glendale Heights, IL

"Dearest Elaina and Family! I feel such a loss for words. You will remember me as Billy Hunter's Grandma, Jennifer's Mother who rarely missed a baseball game from the time they first began playing as little tikes. It was only a few weeks ago he came to pick Billy up while Billy was staying with me. I hadn't seen him since Billy and family moved to Ohio. What a pleasant surprise it was when he came here and greeted me with a warm embrace. We talked awhile. He told me of his future plans. When I asked about you and the rest of his family he delighted in telling me how each of you have been and promised to extend my regards. He was ALWAYS from a little boy to the hansome young man I recently witnessed, a kind, caring, humble boy with a contagious smile. I know Billy is heartbroken back home in Ohio as I am still in disbelief and sorrow. Please accept my sincere condolences. I know you, Ralph and all of his family and loved ones are suffering the pain of his passing. I will remember him always with love and pray in time your loss will be comforted with the lifetime of beautiful memories he leaves behind. He will be sorely missed by so many. I am so very sad and sorry! Sincerely, Pam....Billy Hunter's Grandmother. xo"

Rich Spizziri from South Elgin, IL

"Deeply sorry for your loss. I was golfing at Wing Park last month and they were busy. A young man behind me said "lets play together". We did and had a great nine holes. I found out from him that he knew my son through baseball and SCN and was a couple years younger. He talked a lot that day about his job and how much he also loved sports. Was an amazing young man...and helped me on a couple of my drives that day:). My prayers are with you."
