Laura E. Scotello Finger, 53 of St. Charles, Illinois beloved mother of Annamarie, Anthony and Dominick passed away June 4, 2018 at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, Illinois
Laura was born in Chicago on November 27, 1964. She was the youngest of five children of Louis and Loretta Finger. She began her education at Immaculate Conception Grammar School and Resurrection High School. She further her education at Marquette University and received her Registered Nurse degree from Triton College.
Laura dedicated her life to helping others through nursing at numerous facilities nationwide. Her passion went beyond nursing through volunteer work and community service. Over the course of her career she received many accolades for outstanding patient care. Laura never did it for the recognition but for the enjoyment of seeing others happy and healthy.
Laura is survived by her fiancé, David Bode, her siblings Patty (Kevin Gross), Lou (Cindy Panice), Jim (Chris Basil), Annette (Lou Cesario), seven nieces, one nephew, one great nephew, several aunts and cousins and the father of her children Frank Scotello.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 8th from 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. at St. John Neumann Church, 2900 E. Main Street, St. Charles, Illinois where the Funeral Mass will begin immediately following.
Burial held at All Saints Cemetery, 700 North River Road, Des Plaines, Illinois.
