Obituaries

Lillian A. Jackowiak age 89, formerly of Des Plaines, Illinois died peacefully surrounded by her family April 19, 2019. She was born to John and Anna Pinderski, in Chicago, Illinois. Lillian embraced her Polish heritage, and loved her family.

She is survived by son Robert (Donna) Jackowiak, daughter Catherine (Daniel) Drescher, eight grandchildren; Elizabeth (Preston) Fritch, Robert (Sarah) Jackowiak, Adrienne (Derrick) Smith, Daniel (Rachel) Ostrow, Christopher (Karin) Jackowiak, Melissa Greene-Eitel, Michael Drescher, Madelynne Drescher, fourteen great-grandchildren, brother John (Joyce) Pinderski, and many nieces and nephews.

Lillian was preceded in death by her loving husband Robert Jackowiak, daughter Mary Ostrow, sisters; Helen (Ted) Nowokunski, Angeline (Tony) Camardo, Jean (Larry) Hart.

Funeral Mass will be 10:30 A.M. Monday, May 6, 2019, at St. Patrick Downtown Catholic Church 400 Cedar Street, St. Charles, Illinois  60174. Burial will be at St. Adalbert Catholic Cemetery, Niles, Illinois. Visitation will be 2-6:00 P.M. at Yurs Funeral Home 405 E. Main Street, St. Charles, Illinois 60174. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
