Obituaries

Linda G Olson Bahr, 81, passed away peacefully Feb 15, 2018 in St Charles, IL, comforted by her children.

She was born Apr 25, 1936 in Los Angeles, CA to Hazel and Walter Olson.  Her family crisscrossed between the east coast and LA a couple of times before settling in Plato Center IL where she graduated from Central High School in 1954.  She lived in Bermuda, Missouri, and Florida before returning to Illinois, in Danville, in 2008, near her youngest  brother David (Peggy) Olson.

Linda had a long career as an executive assistant in the insurance, law and real estate communities.  She also had several entrepreneurial ventures.  She had many interests including music, art, literature, aviation, bible study, gardening, nutrition, antiques, and travel.  She was on a live long learning quest.

She is preceded in death by her father and mother, Walter & Hazel, brother David of Danville, IL, and son Thom.

She is survived by her children Suzan Bahr of Geneva, IL, Bill (Sandy) Bahr of Phoenix AZ, former spouse Leroy (Sandy) of Mesa AZ, grandchildren Nate(Jessica) Bahr of Milwaukee WI  and Ryan Bahr of Mesa AZ, great-granddaughters Paige and Scarlette Bahr, brother Alan (Cathy) of Cornwall Buro, PA, nieces and nephews Dan Olson, Deb Tankersley, Mike (Francis) Olson, and Nels Olson, daughter in law Wendy of Wauwatosa, WI. Her furry companion, Friskie, misses her also.
