Lisa (Falconer) Patzner, a beloved member of the Bartlett/St. Charles community, passed away peacefully on December 7, 2023 at the age of 61. Born on November 29, 1962 in Green Bay, Wisconsin, she touched the lives of many through her warmth, compassion, and witty sense of humor.
Lisa is survived by her three devoted daughters, Shelby (Adrian) Janowiak, Jenna Patzner, Brooke Patzner, mother Karen Falconer, sister Tracey (Andrew) Dujakovich, many nieces and nephews, and William Patzner, father of her children. She is preceded in death by her father Gordon Falconer and brother Joseph Falconer.
Lisa graduated from Sycamore High School (class of 1980) and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Iowa State University. She went on to achieve notable success throughout her 25+ year career as a systems analyst. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Lisa Patzner shared a rich and fulfilling life with her family and wide circle of loving friends. From her early days in Sycamore to her adult years in St Charles, Lisa found joy in learning and playing games; whether it was Bunco, bowling, cards, golf, skiing, softball, taekwondo or tennis, Lisa’s competitive spirit always shined through. She loved to laugh and have fun with all who surrounded her.
A memorial service to celebrate Lisa Patzner’s life will be held on Friday, December 15, 2023 at Yurs Funeral Home in St. Charles. Visitation is from 2:00 – 6:00 pm with a memorial service to follow.
