Obituaries

Madlyn was a kind, considerate, sassy redhead whose fondest memories came from enjoying time with family and friends. She was a loving, dedicated Mother and a source of strength and support to her three children throughout her entire life. Her grand children and great grand children were her greatest joy in the later years and she always enjoyed seeing and hearing from them. She truly enjoyed her long career at the bank and was extremely proud to have earned the title of Vice President. She was a supportive friend who didn’t hesitate to acknowledge the accomplishments of others and always wished the best for family and friends. Finally, Madlyn loved the dogs who came into her life with a special appreciation for the companionship they generously gave and their unconditional love.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Bill Stinton and Stanley Ostrowski, her daughter Pamela and grandson Sean.

She is survived by her brothers Dick, Bob (Mary), Carl & sisters Bonnie (Bob) and Kay, her daughter Cindy (Tye), son Dale (Maryann), step-daughter’s Lois and Louise. Grandchildren Bradley (Stephanie), Ashley, Gregory (Amanda), Holly (Marc), Heidi and step-grandchildren Matthew and Scott and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 10:00 A.M. to 12 Noon Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at Yurs Funeral  Home 405 E. Main Street, St. Charles, IL 60174. Funeral Services will follow the visitation at Noon, at Yurs Funeral Home.
