Marcia Swayze, born on November 18, 1964, passed away peacefully at home on June 5, 2026, at the age of 61, surrounded by her loved ones.

Marcia was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished daughter, and loyal friend whose kindness, strength, and unwavering love touched the lives of everyone who knew her. Her greatest joy in life was her family, and she dedicated herself wholeheartedly to those she loved.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Scott Swayze; her son, Andrew Swayze; her daughter, Marissa Swayze-Schukas, and son-in-law, Maxx Schukas; her mother, Jan Hart; her father, John Hart; and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Cath and Richard Christerson. She also leaves behind many extended family members and dear friends who will forever cherish the memories they shared with her.

Marcia was preceded in death by her father, John McLain.

Though her time with us was far too short, Marcia’s legacy of love, compassion, resilience, and generosity will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Her strength, grace, and devotion to her family will never be forgotten.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Marcia’s life during a visitation on Thursday, June 18, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Yurs Funeral Home, St. Charles, Illinois.

Marcia will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
