Obituaries

Marvin F. Schultz, age 79, of Geneva, died Friday, May 11, 2018 at Delnor Hospital Geneva.

He was born May 19, 1938 in Elgin. The son of the late Albert and Clara Schultz.

Marvin was a long time member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church St. Charles. He loved Golfing , Fishing and spending time at his cabin up north.

• He is survived by his wife, Sonja. Three children, Laura (Jeff) Oscarson, Lisa Schultz, and David (Angela) Schultz. Grandchildren, Steve (Mariola) Oscarson, Melinda (Justin) Rosenboom, Kate Oscarson, and Samantha Schultz.  Two great grandchildren, Aliea and Madelyn Oscarson.  Two sisters Mariam Krough, and Charlene Rohfling.  Also his sister and brother in laws, Ingrid (John) Tant & Karleen Lindgren and Carol Schultz.  And several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death besides his parents. A brother, Albert “Bud” Schultz.

Visitation will be held Monday from 4 to 8:00 P.M. at Yurs Funeral Home St. Charles.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at Bethlehem Lutheran Church 1145 N 5^th Ave St. Charles. Burial will be at Union Cemetery.  Contributions may be made to Bethlehem Lutheran Church St. Charles or Christ Community Church DeKalb.
