Marybelle Jares was born March 4, 1920, in People’s Hospital, Peru, Illinois to Glenn B. and Florence Lewis Mudge. She was the first grandchild of Charles Herbert and Alice Bullock Mudge and Walter Dewey and Maud Decker Lewis. She graduated from Tonica High School and attended Brown’s Business College. She was a member of the Baker Memorial Methodist Church, the Silver Foxes, and was a former Zonta member. She enjoyed traveling and was an avid bridge player.

She is survived by her son, Dr. Richard (Cindy) Davito of Brookfield Wisconsin, daughter in law Merilee Davito, Tubac Arizona, grandson Jeremy (Darci) Davito, Sugar Grove Illinois, grandson Brandon (Cherie) Davito, Burlingame California, granddaughter Amanda (Jeff) Sommer, Odessa Florida, great grandchildren Zach Davito, Sugar Grove Illinois, Charlotte and Ross Davito, Burlingame California, Jordan and Jack Sommer, Odessa Florida, stepdaughters Barbara (John) Sabaka, Beloit Wisconsin, Connie (Jerry) Emery, The Villages Florida, Marianne (Bill) Mollway, Madison Wisconsin, step grandchildren Jeff (Shannon) Emery, Denver Colorado, Karen (Jeff) Jones, Chicago Illinois, John (Katie) Sabaka, Beloit Wisconsin, David Mollway and James Mollway, Madison Wisconsin, five step grandchildren, Ashlyn and Lyra Emery, June and August Sabaka, Rockford Illinois, Jasper Jones, Chicago Illinois, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Albert Davito, second husband George Jares, son Jerry Albert Davito, brother Elwood Mudge, brother Walter Mudge, nephew Kenneth Mudge, and step grandson Dave Emery.

Visitation will be Friday, November 24th from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. with funeral services at 12:00 P.M. at Yurs Funeral Home. For more information, please call Yurs Funeral Home St. Charles, 630-584-0060.
