"A legend has passed. I am amazed at the fact that this one got by me. My apologies for posting so late. Max and I worked side by side on countless things in the schools, whenever he needed a police detective. We were both old school and much of our work was done in various boiler rooms at different schools while having a smoke. The Supt would call me instead of 911 and we would get to whatever we had to do. Also worked with him in Boys Baseball. He was one of the most decent and honorable men I have ever known. If I might speak for Mayor Sue, we often laughed at the times we encountered Max during our work days. She too has many fond memories of Max during her years with the city."
