Maxine L. Hoffman, 86, of Elgin, died Saturday, September 24, 2022, at Delnor Community Hospital, Geneva.
She was born March 15, 1936, in Pontotoc, Mississippi
Maxine had been a secretary for Caterpillar for 31 years before her retirement.
She is survived by her loving Husband Robert of 65 years. Also surviving are her sister, Dink Boundy of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and brother, Lee (Wanda) Hunt of New Albany, Mississippi. Also, several Nieces and Nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Lucille Ellingsworth and Christine Sanders. Also, her brother, James Hunt.
Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. Thursday at Yurs Funeral Home St. Charles. Funeral services will follow visitation at 11:00 A.M. Private burial will be at River Hills Memorial Park Batavia.
