Michael R. Gillespie passed away on Wednesday September 1, 2021. He was 75 years old.

The son of Robert and Thelma Gillespie, Mike was born on June 14, 1946 in Chicago, Illiniois.

He is survived by his daughters Kelly Skubski, Jessica (John) Bodel, and Michelle, his grandchildren Jaime, Emily & Joseph Skubski and Trevor Bodel, his sister Loretta (the late Frank) Berbert, brothers Kelly (Janette) Gillespie, Patrick (Sherry) Gillespie, sister Megan Johnson and sister-in-law Patricia (the late David) Reed.

He leaves behind many dear nieces and nephews, especially Courtney who provided loving care during his last months of life.

He was preceded in death by his brothers David Reed and Brian Gillespie and his best friend since childhood Bill Fallon.
