Nancy Anne Barrowcliff Hill (84), born in Chicago. Daughter of Doris Sorensen and John Barrowcliff. Loving wife of Michael for 55 years, devoted mother of Brian (Kelly) and Allison (Debbie), proud grandmother of David and Erik Hill. Beloved high school (D218) and pre-school (Merry Go Round and Bethlehem) teacher. Graduate of Illinois State. Nancy was the Queen of hors d’oeuvres, an excellent bridge player, pet lover, world traveler, voracious reader, loyal friend to many and a great listener whose glass was always half full. The world was a better place because of her. Donations to the St. Charles Public Library Foundation.
A visitation will be held for Nancy on Friday, June 9th from 10:00 A.M. until noon with a memorial service at noon at Yurs Funeral Home at 405 East Main Street, St. Charles, Illinois.
