Ned Owen Tingley age 83 of Huntley, Illinois, formerly of Griffith, Indiana passed away May 27, 2018 at Sherman West Court in Elgin, Illinois. He was born to C. Ned and Eunice Tingley in Chicago, Illinois. He graduated from Milikin University, and worked as an accountant, until his retirement. He enjoyed choral music and was a member of the Baker Memorial United Methodist Church Choir, and the Baker Mens Ensemble, the Prairie Singers and Sun Tone Barber Shop Singers in Del Webb, RGV German Choral Group, in Buffalo Grove. He was also a 50 year member of the Masonic Landmark Lodge # 422.
He is survived by his wife Betty, son James (Mari Carmen) Tingley, daughter Anne (Kevin) Oxner, daughter, Ruth Guba, daughter Mary (Dustin) Walstrom, Nine grandchildren.
Ned was preceded in death by his first wife Elisabeth, and son-in-law Anthony Guba.
Visitation will be 4-8:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 30, 2018, at Yurs Funeral Home 405 E. Main Street, St. Charles, Illinois 60174. Funeral Services will be 10:30 A.M. Thursday, May 31, 2018 at Baker Memorial United Methodist Church 307 Cedar Avenue, St. Charles, Illinois 60174. Burial will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Frankfort, Illinois.
Contributions may be made to the Music Program at Baker United Methodist Church, St. Charles, Illinois.
