Patricia Ann (Kinsella) Potter, beloved wife, mother, aunt, doting grandmother and great-grandmother, and friend to many died Friday January 25, 2019 at the age of 88 at Brighton Gardens in St. Charles, IL. Pat was preceded in death by her husband Stan, who passed away October 24, 2018. Pat and Stan were inseparable in life and are now reunited in heaven. Also preceding her in death were her parents; Robert Walter and Margaret Therese Kinsella and her sister Roberta (Bert) Kinsella.
Pat was born January 25, 1931 in Wyoming IL. She was a long time member of Historic St. Patrick Catholic Church, downtown St. Charles, then later became a member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church. Pat had a deep love for the church and a rich, prayer-filled faith life. She prayed many Holy Rosaries for her family and friends and attended Mass daily in her retirement until she was no longer able.
Pat lived her life dedicated to service to others. She enjoyed her career in the St. Charles Community Unit School District 303 as an Administrative Assistant. She truly enjoyed working in the Athletic Department at St. Charles East. In addition to her career Pat also had a home beauty salon where she had a very loyal clientele of friends and family. Though many were blessed by Pat through her career and beauty shop, none were blessed more by her active faith and love than her family.
Pat is survived by her children; Pam Manson of Plano, IL, Peggy deWerff of Glen Ellyn, IL, Theresa (Dan) Boynton of Decatur, IL, Colleen (Mike) Liesman of Bloomington, IL, David (Kelly) Potter of Sycamore IL as well as fourteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Also surviving are her sisters Rosalie (Dick) Blakey, Colette Meyer, and brother Robert ‘Bobby’ (JoAnn) Kinsella.

Funeral Mass will be 10:30 A.M., Monday, January 28th at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 2900 East Main Street, (Rt. 64), St. Charles. "The first time we met Grandma Great, as my grandchildren called her, and her equally wonderful husband, Grandpa Great, was that a luau that we hosted in our home in Geneva, for our son Scott, who is married to their granddaughter, Sarah. We never met such warm and welcoming and inviting people. Every time we saw them at Scott and Sarah over the years, they were the warmest and gentlest and funniest and sweetest people ever! How greatly missed she will be and praise be to God now reunited with her wonderful husband! It was such a blessing to me and know them. We have certainly missed them already. Comfort and blessings to her entire family."
