Patricia A. Fordonski, 92, of St. Charles, Illinois, formerly of Joliet, Illinois and Marana, Arizona, died on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 in St. Charles.
She was born on May 12, 1925 in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, the daughter of John and Anne (Walkowitz) Boyle.
Pat graduated from Joliet Township High School in 1943, and completed college-level coursework in business and accounting. She was employed in the steel industry, in banking, in equipment manufacturing, and in architectural and landscape design practices.
She is survived by four sons, Michael (Patricia) of Geneva, Illinois, Thomas (Lynn) of Algonquin, Illinois, Steven of Marana, Arizona, Joseph (Margo) of Rancho Mission Viejo, California, seven grandchildren,Patrick Fordonski of Aurora, Illinois, Michelle Roberts of Geneva, Illinois, Melissa Stines of Aurora, Illinois, Katherine Zagorski of Madison, Wisconsin, Anne Fordonski of St. Louis, Missouri, Matthew Fordonski of Newport Beach, California, Alison Fordonski of Costa Mesa, California, three great-grandchildren, Gavin, Mia and Stella, and her brother and sisters-in-law, James Boyle and Marilyn Boyle, Norma Boyle, and Marilyn Boyle.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Bernard Fordonski, two grandsons, Christopher Fordonski and Andrew Fordonski, her brothers, John “Jack” Boyle, Robert Boyle, Edwin Boyle and William Boyle, her sisters-in-law, Virginia Boyle and Doris Boyle.
The Memorial Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 A.M. on Monday, March 12th at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, where Pat was a faithful parishioner since 1983. The church is located at 2900 E. Main Street (Route 64), in St. Charles, Illinois. Interment will be private.

"My mother and I were in the sewing group at the hospital with Pat. We all had a great time sewing and chatting. I lost my mom, Eleanor Mazon, a couple of years ago. Please accept my condolences, Pat was a special person, always with a smile. She will be greatly missed."
