Phil’s legacy was that he loved the Lord Jesus Christ shared his love of Christ with anyone he met and was ready to take any opportunity to pray for that person. Phil fought the courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis for over 27 years, dealing with the effects of that disease, but always having a smile, or a kind word for his caregivers.
Phil married the love of his life Debbie (Meyer) in 1984, 36 years of this journey together. In 1987 they were blessed with a son, Phillip Jr. who he raised and disciplined to be a strong man of God. Phil led his family through acting as a servant leader for both Debbie and Phillip Jr. who always knew they were cared for. He was a hard working family man who put them first before himself on a daily basis.
We are truly thankful that because of Jesus Christ birth, death, and resurrection we have a relationship with God that grants us peace that passes all understanding, and that for those of us who share in a relationship with Christ we will be able to reunite with Phil one day before the Lord.
There will be a Celebration of Phil’s Life TBD.
