Raymond F. Krystal, age 79, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 28th, 2025. He was born on October 4th, 1945, in Chicago, Illinois, to Leonard and Mildred Krystal.
Ray was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He married his beloved wife, Gloria (Pasaye), on March 29th, 1969, and they shared 55 wonderful years together. He is survived by his wife, Gloria; their two children, Christina (Richard) Krautter of St. Charles, IL and Raymond S. Krystal of Cary, IL; and his four treasured grandchildren, James, Matthew, Thomas, and Luke, who were the light of his life.
Ray was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Mildred Krystal, and his brother, Leonard P. Krystal.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1st, 2025, from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M., with a small service to follow at 4:00 P.M. The family invites all who knew and loved Ray to come and share in the celebration of his life.
Ray’s memory will live on through his family and all those whose lives he touched with his kindness, love, and unwavering devotion. He will be greatly missed.
