Robert (Bob) Notte, passed away suddenly on Saturday, April 6, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.

Bob was the son of James and Delores Notte, born December 8, 1954, in Conneaut, Ohio. On October 11, 1975, he married the love of his life, Ilona Cordas, at the St. Francis Cabrini Church in Conneaut.

Family was everything to Bob. He is greatly loved and was cherished by all who knew him. He was an amazing storyteller and was able to start a conversation with everyone he met. He had a gift of bringing people together and making them laugh. He was a very giving person and truly enjoyed helping others. He always loved to cook, bake, and feed people. Bob loved being in nature, walking in the woods, and hunting and fishing with his brothers and his sons. He loved to sing, dance, and play his guitar any chance he could, especially around his grandchildren. He was a loving, kind, sweet devoted man who instilled the importance of faith and family just like his own dad. He will be dearly missed.

Bob is survived by his loving wife and children, Ilona, Ryan, Susan, Mark, Lana, Kristen, Rob along with his cherished grandchildren, Tyler, Hannah, Logan, Audrey, Kali, and Orion. Bob is also survived by his siblings, Jean, Jim, Donna, Karen, Steve, Jan, John, Mary, Rich, Terri, Brenda, his sisters and brothers-in-law, Andy, Char, Stephanie, Jerry, Dee Dee, Lisa, Dennis, and Lorrie, including numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Delores Notte, his in-laws, Andy and Norma Cordas, and his brother, Michael. He was also preceded in death by brother-in-law, Bob Grill, nephew, Chris Chambers, and great-nephew, Tyler Aiken.

Family and friends will gather for visitation from 4:00-8:00 pm Friday, April 12th at Yurs Funeral Home, 405 East Main Street (Corner of Rt. 64 and Rt.25).

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 am Saturday, April 13th at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 2900 East Main Street, St. Charles, Illinois, with the Rev. David Peck and Rev. Leonard Jacobs presiding.

In lieu flowers contributions may be made to St. John Neumann Catholic Church or the Charity of the donor’s choice
