Robert H. Paschal, 69, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 17th due to extensive health complications from kidney cancer.

Rob was born on February 15th, 1955 in St Charles, IL. He was the son of Don F. Paschal and Dorothy H. (Dottie) Paschal.

Rob attended St. Charles High School (1973) and attended University of Colorado, Boulder. Afterwards, Rob joined the family business, Warwick Publishing Company, which he co-owned with his brother Jim and eventually his son Alex. Rob worked for Warwick for the last 47 years and served as the company’s Chief Executive Officer until the time of his death. His son Alex is now the fifth generation of the Paschal family to proudly lead Warwick.

Rob was known for living life to the fullest. His time outdoors was spent dominantly on the golf course, hunting, and fishing. And, when he wasn’t doing any of those, he was on a beach with his wife somewhere in the Caribbean. He had a passion for technology and was a closet audiophile; he could always be found tinkering with something new or eager to show off a new piece of equipment when he was at home. He also loved the family business dearly, and was thankful for how strong the Warwick family was during his many decades of leadership.

Rob was preceded in death by his parents Don and Dottie, his brother Jim, and his wife Debbie. He is survived by his son Alex Paschal (28); cousins Jane (Bob) Burns, Paul (Cindi) Paschal, and Cecilia Paschal; and in-laws Kim Paschal, Cindy and Jeff Thomas, and Carole Fleck.

A visitation for Robert will take place on Tuesday, December 3rd from 3:00 to 6:00 P.M. at Yurs Funeral Home in Saint Charles, at 405 E Main St.

A private family burial will be taking place a Union Cemetery in St. Charles.

Donations in Rob’s memory can be made to The First Tee (https://firsttee.org/)

Larry Carey from Marquette, MI

"Rob and I were close friends throughout our "formative years", including kindergarten at Lincoln School, Haines Junior High, Thompson High school and one semester at Illinois State. We went on a post graduation trip to Europe to pick up his Volvo at the factory with Dave Wade and Dan Groya, to try to discover who we really were. He was the best man at our wedding, and we continued to be very close until families and careers took us on divergent paths in the 80's. Rest in peace my dear friend, you are truly missed by all who knew you. We are forever charter members of the SIR B club!"
