Rodolfo C. Alonzo, 92, of St. Charles, Illinois, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, August 17, 2022. He was greatly loved by his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters and their families. Those who knew him called him Uncle Rudy or Kuya Rody.

The son of Gregorio and Cecilia Alonzo, Rodolfo was born on January 31,1930 in Navotas City, Philippines.

Rodolfo is survived by sons, Rodolfo Jr. (Nora), Billy (Leonila), Ruel (Marites) and daughter, Connie (Edgar) Fediles, sisters Felicidad Naval (Jose +), Rosalinda (Alex Sr.) Gonzalez and brothers, Fortunato (Remedios) and Ruben (Teresita), grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife Rosario Dechico and his son Sammy Alonzo.

Family and friends will gather for visitation from 4:00 – 9:00 P.M. on Friday, August 26th at Yurs Funeral Home at St. Charles, 405 East Main Street (Corner of Rt. 64 and Rt. 25). Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, August 27th at St. Patrick’s Crane Road Catholic Church, 6N491 Crane Road, St. Charles, Illinois 60175.
