Rosario J. Sparacio Sr. age 87 of St. Charles, IL passed away February 14, 2018. He was born to Rosario and Antoinette Sparacio in Chicago, IL.

He founded Rosario Candy Inc. in 1974. Rosario loved to travel and had numerous family vacations across the United States, and many foreign countries. He enjoyed exercising at the health club, and meeting his many friends at McDonalds for coffee.

He is survived by his sons Chester Sparacio, Rosario (Karen) Sparacio, daughters Antoinette Maddox, Camille Sparacio, Valerie Sparacio, son Bruce Sparacio, six grandchildren, Mark Banbury, Landy Maddox, Tyler (Amber) Sparacio, Nicholas Sparacio, Alexander (Macey) Sparacio, Ellanah McNally, seven great-grandchildren,  Lilliana Sparacio, Christopher Banbury, Aireana Sparacio, John Banbury, Mark Banbury, Jaxson Sparacio, Tyler Banbury, sister Cosimina Fitzsimmons, sister in law Laura Sparacio and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife Dolores, son Larry Sparacio, grandsons, Christopher Banbury, Jacob Banbury, brothers, Peter Sparacio, Ignacious Sparacio, Salvadore Sparacio, Anthony Sparacio, and sister, Josephine Myzia.

Visitation will be 4-8:00 P.M. Friday, February 23, 2018 at Yurs Funeral Home 405 E. Main Street, St. Charles, IL 60174. Funeral Services will be 12:30 P.M. Saturday, February 24, at St. Patrick Catholic Church 400 Cedar Street, St. Charles, IL 60174. Burial will be at North Cemetery, St. Charles.
