Rose Ann Cortina, 75, died Monday, July 25, surrounded by her loving family. She was greatly loved by aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The daughter of Angelo and Margarita Cortina, Rose was born on March 12, 1947, in Italy.
She is survived by many cousins in Canada, Chicago, Italy, and New York.
She was preceded in death by her parents Angelo and Margherita Cortina.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, July 30th at St. Peter Damian Church, 131 Crest Ave., Bartlett, IL, with Rev. Curt Lambert officiating. Interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, River Grove. Family and friends will gather for visitation from 9-10:00 A.M., Saturday, July 30th at St. Peter Damian Church, 131 Crest Ave., Bartlett, IL.
Donations in Rose’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, the American Heart Association, or the Fox Valley Pregnancy Center – 101 E Sate St, South Elgin, IL (847) 697-0200. These are the three charities that Rose supported.

She came to many parties at our house and was always in the kitchen with me.
