Obituaries

Ross Eugene Waite, 71, died September 5, 2026 surrounded by his family, after living with Parkinson’s disease for many years. Ross was born in Arrington, Cambridgeshire, England to Merle Roe Waite and Eugene Waite on September 21, 1954. He came to the USA in January of 1956, where he grew up in Milwaukee and Brookfield, WI. He graduated from Waukesha High School in 1972. He worked fulltime while attending Milwaukee School of Engineering and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. Ross worked for Amtrol, Lovejoy Electronics, Danfoss, Richardson Electronics, and Franklin Electric during his career as an electrical engineer, traveling to Europe, Asia and South Africa. During his free time Ross enjoyed photography, his Corvette, playing catch with the dogs, and attempting to interest his daughters in engineering activities. Ross was proceeded in death by his parents, Eugene and Merle Waite, and his Brother-in-law Robert Conway. Ross is survived by his wife of 51 years, Jane, daughters Katherine Tatak (Chris), Sarah Mathiot (Nathan), Jennifer McDougall (Matthew), 9 grandchildren Colin, Owen and Isla Tatak, Madeline, Olivia and Benjamin Mathiot, Mason, Claire and Charlie McDougall, Sister Karen Conway (partner Ross Panzke), Brother William Waite (Jeanine), Aunt and Uncle Marguerite and Malcolm Newell, and Sisters-in-law Marsha and Nelda Lemmenes. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Parkinson’s Voice Project.
