Obituaries

Rozella M. Nagy (nee Utlaut) died peacefully on Saturday August 14, 2021, in Geneva, Illinois; two days short of her 90^th birthday.  She was born in Grand Pass, Missouri on August 16, 1931, to Frieda and Lorenz Utlaut. She met her husband, Bill, working together on a cleaning crew at Elmhurst College and they married October 10, 1954. A graduate of Elmhurst College, Rozella dedicated her life to early childhood education and founded Swing Set Preschool in St. Charles, IL. She is preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Wm. L. Nagy.

She is survived by her sister, Celia Drake, three children, Loren Nagy (Alycia), Donald Nagy, Cheryl Rhodes (Tim), five grandchildren, Matthew Nagy (Bernadette), Amanda Nagy (Kim), Hannah Rhodes, Rachel Rhodes, Evan O’Connor, and three great grandchildren, Nash Nagy, Gunnar Nagy, Dietrich Nagy.

Funeral services will be held Noon, Saturday, August 21^st at The Congregational United Church of Christ, 40W451 Fox Mill Blvd, St. Charles, IL.  Visitation will precede the funeral, 10 a.m.-noon at the church.  Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be sent to The Congregational United Church of Christ, St. Charles, Il or Elmhurst University, Elmhurst, Il.
