Ruth J. Collins age 91, of Plato Center passed away December 25, 2019 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born to Edward and Mary Schoors in St. Charles, IL.
She is survived by her three children; Linda (Mike) Horne, Don (Wendy) Collins, Jan (Don) Weiss, grand-children Mike (Dionne) Horne, Paul (Lisa) Horne, Dan (Katie) Horne, Matt (Stefanie) Horne, Sean (Heather Jones) Horne, Amy (Ken McVey) Collins, Ronnie (Kerri) Collins, Becky (Tim Landmeier) Collins, Jennifer (Brian) Porter, 15 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband Robert “Bob” Collins.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
Visitation will be 1-4:00 P.M. Sunday December 29, 2019 at Yurs Funeral Home 405 E. Main Street, St. Charles, IL 60174. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 A.M. Monday, December 30, 2019, at St. Patrick Downtown Catholic Church 400 Cedar Street, St. Charles, IL 60174. Burial will be at Union Cemetery, St. Charles, IL.
