Obituaries

Sandra Sue Leighty, age 84, of Aurora passed away Friday, June 19, 2026 at the Pearl of the Tillers in Oswego, Illinois.

She was born July 24, 1941 in Vienna, Illinois to Ralph and Lula Murrie.

Sandra is survived by her two children, Kelly (Andrew) Silagyi and Kevin Leighty, four grandchildren, Megan (Andrew) Stiles, Kaitlin (Dale) Jackman, Tara (Kyle) Ball and Ryan (Annie) Leighty, three great grandchildren, Beckett and Berkleigh Ball and Andrew (A.J.) Jackman and a sister, Joyce Weakland.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Ronald.

Funeral service will be held 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, June 24^th at Yurs Funeral Home, 405 East Main Street, (Corner of Rt. 64 and Rt. 25), St. Charles.  Burial will be at Little Woods Cemetery, Wayne, Illinois.  Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
