Scott Allen Houghton, 67, St. Charles, died May 15, 2025, at Delnor Hospital, Geneva. He was born April 24, 1958, in South Bend, Indiana. The son of the late Allen and Jonel Houghton. Scott formerly was a Sergeant in the US Army serving as a Truck Driver for 13 years. Recently he was a member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He is survived by his wife, Jaclynn. Three children, Sharon (Matt) Swanson, Thomas Houghton and Rodger Houton. Six grandchildren and three sisters and a brother. Visitation will be held Wednesday May 21st from 3 to 7:00 P.M. at the Yurs Funeral Home St. Charles. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday May 22nd at St. John Neumann Catholic Church 2900 E Main Street St. Charles.The burial will be at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, Il.In Lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Wounded Warriors Project. For further information call Yurs Funeral Home St. Charles. 630-584-0060
