Sharon completed her BS degree in Education at Georgia College, Milledgeville, Ga. She then completed her Master’s degree in Education at Aurora University in 2001. For 35 years Sharon taught various grades and subjects in four different locales. Sharon developed an intense interest in US History and the US Constitution.
After retirement, Sharon and Bob traveled extensively mostly on cruise ships throughout the Caribbean, South Pacific, Mediterranean and Baltic Seas, and many different river cruises. Many cruises had been planned over the next couple of years which will not be taken.
Sharon was a vivacious, caring, and nurturing woman. She cared deeply for children, horses, cats, and dogs. She mentored many young persons over the course of her life. She was active in many horse oriented activities, fun outings with her Red Hat group, and her Mermaid water aerobics girlfriends.

"I am so sad to hear of Sharon’s passing. I met Sharon when I worked at Tefft Middle School 14 years ago. Sharon was a delightful, insiteful, intelligent lady who made me laugh. She was generous and witty and inspired me in so many ways. Sharon land Bob let my husband and me keep our beehives on their property in Wayne for many years when we started out beekeeping.
