Shawna R. McLoughlin, 50 of Aurora passed away November 25th after a long fought battle surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 17, 1972 in Santa Clara, California. She was loved by her partner, children, grandchildren and family.
Survived by her partner of 8 loving years, Misty L. Villafania along with her son Adam Lee Hopkins of Ohio, daughter Alexandrina Taylor Visby of Bolingbrook, grandchildren Gavin Cain and RaeLeigh Monroe and one fur baby-Re’cee.
Shawna was the daughter of the late Timothy and Denise McLoughlin and sister to Traci McLoughlin, brothers Corey (Felicia) McLoughlin and Kyle McLoughlin and many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Thursday December 8, 2022, at Yurs Funeral Home, 405 E. Main Street, St. Charles, Illinois 60174. A Celebration of life will follow the visitation at 4:00 P.M. Thursday, December 8th at Yurs Funeral Home (Corner of Rt. 64 and 25).
In lieu of flowers: Shawna’s beloved French Bulldog preceded her in death Kaja. Donations in Shawna’s memory may be made to Chicago French Bulldog Rescue, www.frenchieporvous.
