"Oh Taryn. How do I even find all the words to describe you? My instant best friend knowing no one at age 10 after moving here in the middle of a school year in 5th grade to becoming instant best friends to so many childhood memorable moments from grade school to high school and becoming college roommates having so much in common. I loved you Taryn. For your drive. Your intelligence. Your ability to put life into a beautiful poem of words. You will be missed."

"My most vivid memories of you are when you were a baby. I remember coming over and asking Dad or Gaye if I could hold you even though you were sound asleep in your crib. I was always so excited to see you and Breese. Your cuteness was off the charts. You are a beautiful soul, Taryn. Grandma Berta, Grandpa Mac, Joan, Big Mary and adorable little Maggie are all hugging and loving you now. I know you are in a much better space surrounded by only love, peace, and joy. You are safe, and that comforts me."

"Your kindness, gentleness and generosity I know from the start. We didn’t speak much but we know each other. Gayle told me you didn’t like the cleaners to enter in your room but you allowed me. No gray area with no with regards the food I give you. It’s either yes I like it or no thanks. My heart and soul aching so much I can’t express myself the way you expressed yours. Sleep well Taryn, rest peacefully."

"Taryn, thank you for teaching me how to make even the most mundane into an adventure. Thank you for teaching me to appreciate fashion and dance and to not take either too seriously. Thank you for being a part of so many of my childhood memories. It’s a testament to you and how much you mean to me even after years of not being in touch that I’m able to write something for this. Thank you for all of it."
