Vincent Muzzalupo, 74, died Wednesday July 20th, surrounded by his loving family. He was greatly loved by his wife, children, grandchildren, family, and friends.

The son of Vincent and Angelina Muzzalupo, Vince was born on December 9th, 1947, in Chicago. On July 9th, 1996 he married Robin Gehrhardt and they happily raised their four children in the St. Charles community.

Vince proudly served in the United States Air Force and National Guard for 21 years, serving in Vietnam and Desert Shield/Desert Storm. Vince worked for the State of Illinois for over 25 years.

Vince enjoyed traveling, fishing, golf, and was a lifelong Chicago sports fan. He was a devoted family man known for making others laugh.

Surviving are wife Robin, son Matt (Patrick) Bauer, daughters Megan (Adam) Fleck, Brittany (fiancé Joe Pentimone) Bauer, Lauren (fiancé Cole Bousselot) Muzzalupo; grandchildren Harrison and Quinn; brother Frank Orlando, sister Peggy Muzzalupo, and dear nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Preceded in death by his parents Vincent and Angelina Muzzalupo, brothers Frank Muzzalupo and John (Christine) Muzzalupo, and sister Doris Orlando.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday July 25th at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 6N491 Crane Road, St. Charles, IL with Nate Pacer officiating. Internment will be at Prairie Cemetery, St. Charles where military honors will be held. Family and friends will gather for visitation from 2-6:00 P.M., Sunday July 24th at Yurs Funeral Home of St. Charles, 405 East Main Street (corner of Rt. 64 and Rt. 25).

Donations in Vince’s memory may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or a favorite charity.
