William [Bill] A. Morrissey age 84 of Barrington passed away November 16th 2017. He was born to Wilfred and Anna Morrissey in York PA.
Bill attended St Odilo School in Berwyn, Fenwick High School, and graduated from Morton High School, and Millikin University. He was a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity.
Bill was a 35-year employee of the RH Donnelley Corporation, retiring as Vice President. He was a lifelong Chicago Democrat, avid fan of the White Sox, along with whatever team was playing the Cubs.
He is survived by his sons; James [Lydia] Morrissey, Gregory Morrissey, son-in-law Philip Held, grandchildren; Jeffrey [Stephany] Held, Jonathan [Jericca] Held, Christopher [Amy] Held, Alena Morrissey, Jack Morrissey, great grandchildren; Sophie Held, Lucas Held, Grace Held, sister Anne Thompson, and Uncle to many.
He was preceded in death by his wife Sue, daughter Jean Anne Held, sisters Alice Wyatt and Patricia Morrissey.
Visitation will be 4-8:00 P.M. Monday, November 27, 2017, at Yurs Funeral Home 405 E. Main Street, St. Charles, IL 60174. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, November 28, 2017, at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 2900 E. Main Street, St. Charles, IL 60174. Burial will be at Bronzewood Cemetery, Oak Brook, IL.
