William J. “Jack” McLeod, age 71 ,of St. Charles, died Wednesday, December 20, 2017.

He was born November 30, 1946 in Oak Park, Il. The son of the late Ralph and Mary McLeod.

He had served in the US Army as a Specialist 4th Class during the Vietnam War.

Jack will be especially remembered as a loving father and husband, an outdoorsman, and an active member of his community who dedicated his time to his church and to coaching youth sports and special Olympics.

Jack is survived by his wife, Susan and their three children, Brian (Emma), Justin (Jane), and Ashley. Also, his sister, Mary Ellen (Richard) Simon.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael.

Memorial Services will be held 10:30 A.M. Saturday at St. John Neumann Catholic Church St. Charles.
