William R. (Billy) Broeski of Lily Lake passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2019.

Billy was born on July 31, 1984 in Hoffman Estates to Gary Broeski and Mary Colleen (Anderson) Broeski. In 2011 he met the love of his life, Katie Heyer. They were married in June 2018.

Billy was a driver for UPS for the last 12 years. He loved cooking, gardening, and was an amazing artist. Billy was also an avid sports fan. He played hockey, and loved the Chicago Blackhawks. He was also a fan of the Cubs, Bears, and Notre Dame.

Billy is survived by his wife and his parents. He is also survived by his brothers Chris Broeski and Jake Anderson, and his sister, Katie Broeski; his grandparents, Richard and Mae (Brogan) Anderson; his mother and father-in-law, Shelly and Jack Heyer; and his sister in law, Sarah Heyer. He is also survived by his dogs Gracie and Stanley.

He will also be sadly missed by his aunts, uncles, cousins, and many, many friends.

Billy was an amazing person. His family asks that when you think of Billy, you remember the kindness he showed, and the things he did to make you laugh.

Remain faithful that we will all be reunited again. Until you all meet again, may God hold him tightly in the palm of his hands."

Luciene from Wayne, IL

"Just learning of sweet Billy's passing, my thoughts & prayers are for his wife and family. I was one of his many fortunate recipients of UPS deliveries in Wayne, and so enjoyed when he could linger and chat awhile. He knew everyone's dogs, always left treats, let the dogs come up into his truck, as my last one would see any UPS truck in town as she was usually with me in car and she would get so excited thinking it had to be Billy! He will be sorely missed, as I pray for comfort and healing for his loved ones, two & four footed. 💛"

Angela & Barry Brooks from Wayne, IL

"I'm so sad to hear of Billy's passing. Our condolences to you, his family and close friends. We were customers of Billy's (UPS) and were very sad and shocked to hear this news. Billy was great to chat with and provided exceptional service to everyone, I know that he went "above and beyond" his call of duty when working with us. Our dog, Piper loved him too and tried to leave with him a few times ;)"

Shawn G. Wurtz from Marengo, IL

"Billy, I love you. I think about you every day and I wish we could have one more skate together. I miss you so much. I hope I've made you proud."
